SMS Beginning Band Calendar 2007-2008

Students should bring instruments to the band room in the morning on every day that they have band. They must show up in class every band day with Yamaha Advantage Books and Instruments.

IMPORTANT DATES

SPRING CONCERT... Thursday 5/8/2008

6th Grade Beginning Band Schedule

6th graders will have band every other day, so each week will be either MWF OR TuTh. For example, woodwinds(WW) will have class on MWF the first week, so week #2 will be TuTh. You will be able to use the schedule below to keep track.

WW = Saxophones, Flutes, and Clarinet B&P = All Brass instruments plus Percussion

20) 5/26-30 WW-W, B&P-TuTh.... Monday NO school for Memorial Day. NO Instruments all week! 3/29 minimum day & last day of school

NOTE on Minimum Days: On mini days due to inservice or parent conferences, students should plan on bringing instruments.
