Parents, you can ALWAYS help your students by:
- Helping them check and make sure they bring instruments and YAMAHA ADVANTAGE BOOKS to school on correct days
- Ensuring that they have a regular time and place to play at home
- Making sure that they are bringing instruments home by encouraging them to play for you at home regularly
For music books, repairs, or other needs, please call ARMAS MUSIC 322-0851, CALIFORNIA KEYBOARDS 327-5397, and NICK RAIL MUSIC 412-4942.
Remember, Mr W also sells reeds and oils (at or below cost) for your convenience. Clarinet and sax players must have at least TWO good reeds in their case at all times (CLAR #2, SAX # 2.5). Brass players must have OIL! And ALL clarinets, saxes and flutes must have a swab. Clarinets and saxes should also have cork grease.
4th quarter almost done! We were trying something new this time. Except for drummers and 2nd period woodwinds, all classes have only 6 assigned tests. They must also play 6 additional tests of their own choice. Tests are done in class. Those needing extra help, or wanting to work ahead, can also come before school, break, and at lunch. After school times available by arrangement.
These students have finished (or nearly finished) ALL 12 tests for this quarter! ( + means bonus tests done as well) GREEN are newest
